Eoin O Riabhaigh: The New House

Though not essential, the Cnat key is very useful for this one. This variation occurs at the start of part B and replaces the standard D’ C# D’ B G with D’ C# Cnat B G. This one sounds great on the pipes and is one that
I use in many tunes. Watch out for tunes that have a D’ Cnat B movement – many of them might benefit from a D’ C# Cnat B alternative. However, like all variations – do not overdo it.

Variation 2

This features in part C and simply jumps up to the HighB’ for an instant. This just adds an unusual kick to the section of the tune. Not every ones cup of tea, but I like a little messing about! Definitely – once is enough
for this one.
